A native of L&A County, Andrew enjoys being in the area from both a business and a personal perspective. "Business does well here because of the opportunities available in eastern Ontario. It's a fairly untapped market that has yet to be exploited,” he says. “There is a lot of work opportunity here that I see developing quite heavily in the near future. My company alone has a tremendous opportunity in L&A to be developed in the next 15-20 years. There is a need here for good contractors, home builders and civil construction companies and the availability of trained and trainable workers is fairly high. There is a lot of work, and lots of eager workers in L&A. It's a perfect fit for companies like mine. Lennox and Addington is a great place for trades that really embraces growth. There’s so much opportunity here to be successful." 

 "The ability to create things and be your own person is one of the best things about owning a business,” he continues. “I know it sounds like a cliché, but my favourite thing about being an entrepreneur is creating employment and creating business for myself through these people. I hire great workers that I provide employment for, and they provide the manpower. I get to create and be more creative. It really is a win-win situation. I feel good knowing I am creating employment for myself and my workers while aiding in the physical development and economical growth of the place I call home."
