The June 2010 issue of Harrowsmith Country Life magazine featured an article about Aztext Press, a book publisher near Tamworth. Owners Cam and Michelle Mather moved from Burlington to L&A County in 1998 to their off-the-grid house. They are the publishers of the best selling books “The Renewable Energy Handbook”, “$mart Power: an urban guide to renewable energy and efficiency”, “Biodiesel: Basics and Beyond” and “The Zero-Carbon Car”. They have also produced four DVDs as part of their “Solutions for Sustainability Series; “Living With Renewable Energy”, “Biodiesel Basics”, “Home-Scale Wind Turbine Installation” and “Grow Your Own Vegetables”. Cam’s first book “Thriving During Challenging Times: The Energy, Food and Financial Independence Handbook” was published in the fall of 2009.
